Horsefeathers Roadhouse recently completed a 2,000-

square-foot dance floor with an additional "Common Table" for expanded entertainment seating.

The plank table is 16 feet long, supported by two 50-gallon wood Tennessee whiskey barrels.

Horsefeathers also recently installed two new sound systems with juke boxes, one for the dance floor level and the other for the restaurant level. New pool tables have been installed in the saloon bar, and new video and challenge games for children and adults.

Epic Chop House donates to HealthReach

MOORESVILLE The new Epic Chop House in downtown Mooresville donated $1,545 recently to HealthReach Community Clinic, the free health care clinic on Statesville Avenue for people who lack health insurance or are underinsured.

Proceeds came from the more than 300 guests at the restaurant's "sneak peek" VIP night Nov. 22.

"This money will help pay for much-needed essential health services and medications," said Rory Crawford, HealthReach executive director. "It is very humbling to see how generously the community responds to help those in need."
