Ten Lake Norman restaurants and three in the Concord and University City areas will offer diners special deals during the semi-annual "Queen's Feast" Charlotte Restaurant Week, Jan. 21-30.
The sixth annuall culinary promotion will feature 83 Charlotte-area restaurants.
Charlotte Restaurant Week is scheduled during a typically slow time, in which upscale restaurants offer a prix fixe three-course-or-more dinner for $30 per person, not including tax and gratuity.
The previous Charlotte Restaurant Week, in July, generated about 80,000 dinners and $3.76 million in revenue for 88 restaurants, said Bruce Hensley, president of Hensley Fontana Public Relations & Marketing. Participants are:
In Cornelius: 131 Main-Lake Norman and first-time participants Alton's Kitchen & Cocktails and Choplin's.
In Huntersville: Dressler's-Birkdale, Red Rocks Café-Birkdale, Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse and Mickey & Mooch.
In Davidson: Flatiron Kitchen & Tap Room and North Harbor Club.
In Mooresville: The Prickly Pear.
Participating from the Concord and University City areas will be the Melting Pot-University; Rocky River Grille & Lounge and the Speedway Club.
