Study enrolls 5,000th subject

Duke University's Murdock Study at the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis has enrolled its 5,000th participant, Todd Redden, executive director of physician education, research and medical staff services at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast in Concord.

The Murdock Study is building a bank of individuals' biological samples, matched with their medical history, demographics and other descriptors to help Duke researchers and partners better understand diseases that commonly affect the public's health.
