"Cabarrus County During Wartime: The War Between the States," a free exhibit commemorating the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War, will be on display Feb. 8-May 14 at the Concord Museum, 11 Union St. S., Suite 104.

On display will be Confederate battle flags hand-sewn by Concord women; oil paintings, weapons; vintage photographs; and other artifacts.

Auditions for the Old Courthouse Theatre's production of the musical "Honk!" will be Feb. 7-8.

Children will audition at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7. They don't need to prepare a song; there will be a cold reading from the script.

Adults will audition 7:30-9 p.m. Feb. 7 and 7-9 p.m. Feb. 8. They should prepare a Broadway-style song that shows range; there also will be a cold reading from the script.

Performances will be March 31-April 17.
