"Dinner & Dancing in the Dirt," a benefit fundraiser for Wings of Eagles Ranch Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center, will be 6:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday, with live and silent auctions, a family-style dinner and live bluegrass music by Jeff Whittington.

The ranch teaches special-needs children and adults to ride and manage horses on their own.

"Dinner & Dancing in the Dirt" will fund scholarships for the ranch's eight-week riding sessions and will pay to build a cabin to house summer camp staff.

Tickets are $50. For tickets or to become a sponsor, visit www.wingsofeaglesranch.org/

Games will be at 10 a.m. and 1, 4 and 7 p.m. each day.

Daily tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for students and senior adults (age 55 and older). Tournament passes are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior adults. For tickets, go to the stadium box office or call 704-932-3267.

The city of Concord will change its website and employee email addresses to a ".gov" domain as of May 2.

The city now uses "ci.concord.nc.us" as its Web address and "ci.concord.nc.us" at the end of all employee email addresses.

The naming convention will change to "concordnc.gov" to be more user-friendly and consistent with other government agencies.
