Mooresville Christian Mission will open an upscale consignment shop Monday to raise money to help Lake Norman-area families in need.
The Give Back Boutique will feature gently used designer apparel and accessories. The store is at 478 Williamson Road, Unit D, in the Williamson Professional II Center.
Local volunteers will staff the store 10 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays.
The boutique will specialize in women's high-quality designer and name-brand clothing; jewelry, handbags, belts, shoes and accessories; small furniture accent pieces; and collectibles and home accessories, said Valerie Chamberlain, the mission's executive director.

Chamberlain asks residents to begin saving all of their nearly new clothing, accessories and unique collectibles for donation or consignment at the store.
Consignments and donations can be dropped off at the boutique during its regular hours.
The mission serves about 4,000 families through its emergency crisis program, food pantry, emergency shelter, transitional housing, life and job skills training, case management, mentoring and adopt-a-senior, Christmas angels and Angel Food ministries.
