Computers, TVs and other electronics should no longer be left curbside for trash pickup. Electronics were banned July 1 from the state's landfills because of toxic materials in their manufacture. Recycle them at the Iredell County Transfer Station on N.C. 150 East near U.S. 21.
Because of town budget cuts, there will be no leaf and limb collection in the incorporated part of Troutman in August. The service will resume in September.
