Local dance 'stars' to perform at college endowment benefit

Fifteen local "stars" will pair with area dance professionals for the "2011 Dancing with the Iredell Stars" benefit at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Statesville Civic Center.

The program will benefit the Mitchell Community College Endowment for Excellence Scholarship Fund

The stars will be Robert "Robby" Carney, executive director of the Mooresville-South Iredell Economic Development Corp.; Sue Davidson, office manager, D&D Enterprise of Iredell and Frank Davidson Roofing Co.; Sloan Goforth, a lawyer at Pope, McMillan, Kutteh, Privette, Edwards & Schieck; and Marian Kimball, urgent care manager at Piedmont Healthcare.

Also, Mike Lassiter, a lawyer at Lassiter & Lassiter; Derone McNeill, athletic director/coach at Statesville Christian School; Jennifer Mills, marketing director and vice president at Randy Marion Automotive; Kristie Phillips-Bannister, owner of KPAC Gymnastics.

Also, Dr. Douglas Pritchard; Douglas D. Pritchard, MC, PLLC; Scott Rankin, vice president of sales at Statesville Brick Co.; Marian Steele, CFO at J.C. Steele and Sons.
