These events are being held during the holiday season:

Holiday Food Drive: The Cornelius/Lake Norman Lions Club is conducting the drive to benefit the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry at the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson. Nonperishable, canned and dry food items, baby diapers, formulas and other accessories are being collected until Thursday at.

Christmas in Davidson 2011 ornament: $10, available at The Village Store and The Wooden Stone in downtown Davidson. Created from blown glass in various colors by Vermont-based studio Hot Glass Works, the ornament features the Davidson United Methodist Chapel. Proceeds benefit the Davidson Housing Coalition.
