Lake Norman

Jack Salzman, owner and president of Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge will serve as chairman of the board of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce for 2012.

Salzman, whose Cornelius dealership employs more than 80 workers, has been the No.1 volume new vehicle Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership in the Carolinas since he purchased the dealership in 2003.

He was named the Lake Norman Chamber's Robert T. Cashion Business Person of the Year in 2006.

Salzman will officially assume the chairmanship at the chamber's Annual Awards Banquet on Jan. 19 from Robert Reed, who chaired the 850-plus member chamber in 2011. The event will be keynoted by N.C. Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Lew Ebert.

Dr. Donna Hager and staff announced recently that Dr. Gary Hensley and associates now own their dental practice at 19824 W. Catawba Ave., Suite B, Cornelius.

Jessica Rivers of Mooresville was recently hired as existing industry and marketing manager at the Mooresville-South Iredell Economic Development Corp.

Rivers was selected from 117 applicants. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science in retail management and has worked in customer service and numerous sales manager positions in the Charlotte area.
