Kol Nidre service: Reflection on vows we have made and might make. No oneg as fasting begins. Child care provided. 7 p.m. Oct. 3.

Yom Kippur: Beautiful service of atonement, repentance and prayer. 10 a.m. Oct. 4. Performance and discussion of “The Gates Are Closing,” a play for the High Holy Days by noted poet, peace activist and educator Merle Feld, 4 p.m. Suggested audience for the performance is b’nai mitzvah and older. Free, but donations accepted. Evening services and breaking of the fast 6 p.m. Child care provided for morning service and 4-7:30 p.m.
