No injuries were reported when two men robbed a lending institution this morning in south Charlotte.
The robbery happened about 8:30 a.m. at the Citi Financial office in the 4200 block of South Boulevard, a short distance south of Scaleybark Road.
Police say two men apparently broke into a vacant building next to Citi Financial early this morning, then smashed a hole in the wall. They were waiting inside Citi Financial when the first employee arrived this morning. That employee was tied up, and the business robbed.
When another employee arrived about 8:30 a.m., police were called.
One suspect was described as a black male, wearing a Minnesota Vikings jersey and blue jean shorts. The other suspect was a black male with khaki pants and a white dress shirt.
