The following students have received Eagle Scout badges:



Patrick Snyder, 16, received his badge for a project he did at Wing Haven Gardens. Patrick, a student at Myers Park High School, constructed a large concrete pad for a chipper and built five benches at Wing Haven.

Patrick is part of Troop 11, sponsored by Providence United Methodist Church. Brian Crutchfield is his scout master. Patrick is the son of John and Mary Beth Snyder of Charlotte.



Christopher Lawing, 15, was awarded his badge for a project renovating the wattle fence surrounding the garden at James K. Polk State Historic Park in Pineville. Christopher, a student at Myers Park High School, is part of Troop 355, sponsored by Sharon United Methodist Church Methodist Men. Wayne Foster is the trooper leader. Christopher is the son of Phyllis and Scott Lawing.



Austin John Roberts, 18, received his badge for a project at Alexander Graham Middle School. Austin, a student at Myers Park High School, led teams in building an outdoor classroom and provided the school with athletic equipment for outdoor sports.

He is part of Troop 55, sponsored by Myers Park Presbyterian Church. Dr. Stuart Tucker is his scout master. Austin is the son of Cindy and Mark Roberts.
