A Lincoln County woman was charged with running into two people with a pickup truck and trying to hit three others with the vehicle, authorities said today.
According to a Lincoln County Sheriff's Office news release, Lisa Rose Dellinger, 40, of Lincolnton, drove a GMC Sierra pickup into the front yard of a residence on Hilltop Road off N.C. 150 west, striking Billy Joe Reynolds and Dawn Wilde Wood.

Authorities said the suspect then drove the truck toward three other people in the yard. The suspect reportedly drove the vehicle into the yard three times in the direction of the victims, authorities said.
She then left the scene and went to the magistrate's office to report that Reynolds had hit her in the head earlier, according to authorities.
Reynolds and Wood were transported to CMC-Lincoln, where they were treated for injuries, authorities said.
Dellinger was arrested Sunday and charged with three felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill; two felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill and inflicting serious injury; and one misdemeanor count of injury to personal property.
She was being held in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $100,500 secured bond.
