Twenty-one girls won crowns during the Little Miss Tri-County Pageant held Oct. 11 at Bessemer City High School. A group of 37 contestants competed for the titles of Little Miss Gastonia, Little Miss Lincoln County and Little Miss Cleveland County Princess 2009. Winners were:

Baby Miss Gastonia, Kendal McSwain; Baby Doll Miss Gastonia, Mollie Gilmore; Miniature Miss Gastonia, Mackenzie Agan; Tiny Miss Gastonia, Madison Spake; Young Miss Gastonia, Emily Truss; Little Miss Gastonia, Ashleigh Brock; Teen Miss Gastonia, Ashlee Keller; Baby Miss Lincoln County, Charlotte Hinson; Baby Doll Miss Lincoln County, Carolynn Davis; Miniature Miss Lincoln County, Anna Bieberich; Tiny Miss Lincoln County, Angel Baldwin; Junior Miss Lincoln County, Fallon Huffman; Teen Miss Lincoln County, Allyson Thornburg; Baby Doll Miss Cleveland County, Jadah Dobbins; Miniature Miss Cleveland County, Chloe Vogen; Tiny Miss Cleveland County, Israel Hooper; Little Miss Cleveland County, Sophia Kellstrom; Junior Miss Cleveland County, Serena Current; Teen Miss Cleveland County, Savanna Abernathy; Mini-Majestic Little Miss Tri-County, BreAnn Jenkins; Majestic Little Miss Tri-County; Tara Schiphof.

The Miss Gastonia Scholarship Association sponsored the pageant, which is the official Little Miss North Carolina preliminary competition for Gaston,Cleveland and Lincoln counties. The winners and runners-up are eligible to participate in the 2009 Little Miss North Carolina State Pageant. Gina Smith
