Activate Community Through Theatre (ACT) presents “Peter Pan and Wendy,” an audience participation play for children 3 to 12 years old.

ACT’s nonmusical, “Peter Pan and Wendy,” tells the story of the boy who will never grow up. Adventures await audiences as they journey to J.M. Barrie’s Neverland.

Performances are 1 and 4 p.m. Nov. 5 and 12 at Mooresville Intermediate School, 1438 Coddle Creek Highway, Mooresville. Tickets are $10 each. Audiences are invited to wear a costume from the Peter Pan story and get a $1 discount off the ticket price.

ACT’s company of 17 actors ages 7 to 16 will lead pre-show activities for audiences who arrive 30 minutes before the show. Activities include learning how to be a pirate in song and dance, playing in the underground tunnel, flying with Peter and more.

In “Peter Pan and Wendy,” the actors ask children in the audience to be Lost Boys, pirates and even help the crocodile. The audience can join in the fun from their seats singing the pirate song or applauding to bring Tinker Bell back to life. Parents are welcomed to take photos as their children get into the ACT onstage.
