The Volunteer Auxiliary of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center has awarded five $2,000 scholarships to students in the community.

The purpose of the scholarships is to encourage study and participation in medical and health-related professions.

This year’s Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary scholarship recipients include: Amy Koslick, Lincoln Charter High School; Chloe Eater, South Iredell High School; Caleb Klucking, Mooresville High School; Caitlin Pfahler, Lake Norman High School; and Madison Seals, Lake Norman High School.

The awards are based on academic achievement, financial need and commitment to pursuing a health care career.
