Exit 30 The Davidson-Cornelius PONY-13 baseball team went 1-2 in the national World Series in Chino Hills, Calif. The team lost to Tamiami, Fla., 11-4 and lost to Mazatlan, Mexico, 6-5. Davidson-Cornelius defeated Chino Hills, Calif., 5-2 but did not advance to the semifinals.
Exit 33 A traffic light has been installed and will begin operating soon at Fairview Road and N.C. 115.
Exit 36 Mooresville might install speed bumps soon in the 300 and 400 blocks of West Center Avenue.
Exit 42 The Troutman Town Board has voted to move the monthly Planning Board meeting to the fourth Tuesday of each month to streamline the preparation schedule and approval process for items on the town board's agenda.
Exit 50 The Statesville City Council has established a maximum speed limit of 25 mph on all streets within the Shannon Acres Subdivision. Signs will be posted shortly.
