The Mooresville Public Library youth services department will provide the following programs for children and families during the month of September:
No Boys Allowed: 4:15 p.m., beginning Sept. 18. A club just for girls ages 6-12. Registration required.
No Girls Allowed: 4:15 p.m., beginning Oct. 2. A club just for boys ages 6-12. Registration required.
Where in the World? 4:15 p.m., beginning Sept. 23. For ages 6-12. Each program features a new country. Registration required.

Paws to Read: 10 a.m. to noon, beginning Sept. 6. Children of all ages can practice reading to a trained Therapy Dog.

Mooresville neurosurgeon Jeffrey Yablon has been elected for a fellowship at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
Yablon will be formally inducted into the medical fellowship society on Dec. 3. During the ceremony, Yablon will sign the membership register where his name will be added to a roster of fellows that began in 1787.
