Davidson Community Players seeks African American and Latino actors/actresses to fill out the cast for its November production of the musical “Working,” based on Studs Terkel's compilation of interviews with workers across the United States.
Singing and nonsinging roles are available. Auditions will be 7 p.m. Sept. 9 at Davidson College Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Main Street and Concord Road. Scripts will be provided for reading; a prepared monologue is also acceptable. If singing, prepare 16 bars of a song that fits your voice well, and bring sheet music in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided.
