Exit 23 Huntersville will test its new Connect-CTY service Wednesday, which helps notify the public during a time-sensitive issue, such as a power outage or ice storm.

Exit 25 Blythe Landing will host the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League's final N.C. fishing event starting Saturday. More than 200 anglers are expected to compete in the event.
