St. Therese Knights of Columbus Council has announced it will hold its annual LAMB drive for the mentally challenged Sept. 19-21.
Collections will be accepted at Wal-Mart, Lowes Foods and Harris Teeter. LAMB is a statewide Knights of Columbus program that has collected over $16 million since it was started 33 years ago.
The Mooresville Christian Women's Club will host its monthly luncheon 11-1:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Charles Mack Citizens Center. $11.

Local supporters of the Carolina Comfort Coalition will present “Murder at the Speedway,” a mystery dinner theater event on Oct. 25 at the Charles Mack Citizen Center. Advance tickets are $65.
The event includes a silent auction beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by “Murder at the Speedway.”
Proceeds will benefit the Serenity House of Mooresville. All proceeds will be used to secure the financial future of this unique and compassionate mission. Serenity House is a special home established for terminally ill people who lack sufficient caregivers.
