Dr. Anne Wills and Dr. Mary Thornberry will present a program on government and religion entitled Religious Ideals and Political Realities. Wills is an associate professor of religion at Davidson College, and Thornberry is a professor of political science at Davidson College.

Community Impact Day: About 150 volunteers packed about 28,000 meals of rice, dried vegetables and soy protein during a two-hour Stop Hunger Now event June 5. The fourth-grade and fifth-grade Sunday School classes raised over $7,100 to pay for the meals that will be sent to Haiti.
