Fundraisers for 24 Hours of Booty

The MojoRiding Cycling Team will host "A Summer's Evening" fundraiser 7-11 p.m. July 24 at Felix Sabates Mercedes of South Charlotte, 950 N. Polk St.

The event will raise funds for 24 Hours of Booty Inc. Hosted by former mayor Pat McCrory, the event will feature live jazz music by Beth Chorneau, a live auction and will be catered by Ruth Chris and Executive Wines.

The Purple Ribbon Thrift Store will hold a "Christmas in July" fundraiser the entire month of July at 360 Hwy. 70 in Hickory.

The event will have Christmas trees, ornaments, lights and décor for sale. All proceeds will go to support the store's Battered Women's Shelter. Details: 828-322-3423.

The fourth annual Bottoms Up for Booty fundraiser will be held 6-10 p.m. July 22 at Macs, 2511 South Blvd.

The event is part of 24 Hours of Booty, the official 24-hour ride for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The event will feature live music, raffles, barbecue and drinks. Tickets are $25. Details:

The Run For Your Cause 4-Miler will take place 6:30 a.m. July 24 at 2422 Park Road, Charlotte.

The run will benefit the Alzheimer's Association, Lois' Lodge and RHA Howell. Awards will be given to adults and children who participate in the 1K. Registration is $20 before the race and $35 race-day, and $5 for the children's 1K. Details:

24 Hours of Booty, Inc. will host its 9th annual "Booty Loop" race beginning at 7 p.m. July 30-31 at Wellesley Road in Myers Park.

The event, which is the official 24-hour ride of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, will raise money for cancer research and survivorship. The event will include an overnight camp-out, live music, food and the race. Participants must be at least 12 and pre-register. Details:

Monkey Joe's will host "Bounce for Homeless Children" 4-8:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at all Monkey Joe locations.

Monkey Joe's will be offering half-price admission, $2 pizza and giveaways. 20 percent of the proceeds will go to Birthday Blessings, a nonprofit that supports homeless children. Details: 704-889-1211.

Rocky River High School will hold a golf tournament fundraiser 7 a.m. Aug. 21 at the Larkhaven Golf Course, 4801 Camp Stewart Road.
