Be drought conscious: The Catawba-Wateree Drought Management Advisory Group issued a drought watch for the Catawba-Wateree River Basin of North and South Carolina. No specific actions have been recommended for residents, but voluntary water conservation is encouraged.

Autism programs return: The Autism Foundation of the Carolinas will host its Inclusion Based After School Enrichment Program for Children with Autism at three branches of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, including Lake Norman. Robbins Park: Curb and gutter has been installed on the park side of West Catawba Avenue. Paving to start in weeks.
