9 a.m. Sept. 10: Rosh Hashanah. Day 2 morning services with separate children's services 10-11 a.m.

6:30 p.m. Sept. 10: Shabbat Service. Service will be followed by a catered dinner, $12 for members, $15 for nonmembers, $5 children 6-12, children under 6 free. Payment can be made online at www.bslkn.org.

10 a.m. Sept. 11: Healing Service. The service will be filled with special prayers and readings and be an opportunity to bring people together to engage in communal and individual prayer centered around healing of mind, body and soul. Complementary Oneg to follow. RSVP at www.bslkn.org.

7 p.m. Sept. 17: Kol Nidrei. Evening service.

9 a.m. Sept. 18: Yom Kippur. Morning Shabbat Holiday services followed by Yizkor memorial service at 11:30 a.m. with separate children's services from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

6:30 p.m. Sept. 18: Minchah-Neilah-Maariv and Break the Fast. Yom Kippur closing services. Services will be followed by a Break Fast at approximately 8:15 p.m. after the blowing of the Shofar.

Lake Norman Baptist, Huntersville

Organ Concerts: The Organ at Davidson begins its fifth year. As part of the special offerings for this season, the first concert will feature the world premiere of a sonata composed by organist Dr. Robert Parris, professor of organ at Mercer University.
