Restock the ReStore: Our Towns Habitat for Humanity is looking for merchandise to stock two ReStores. For pickup of donated items, call Jean Flynn, 704-896-8957, ext. 204. The store needs gently used or new furniture, household items, books, building materials without nails, tools, cabinets and antiques. The Cornelius ReStore is at 20414 N. Main St., Cornelius, and the Mooresville ReStore is at 121 Norman Station Blvd. Mooresville. www.ourtownshabitat.org.

Troutman

Appointment: Gary Smith was appointed an alternate member of the Troutman Technical Review Committee. The committee meets monthly to review site plans and similar proposals prior to submission to the Town Board.

Iredell County

Animal needs: The Iredell Humane Society has these needs for pets: Purina Cat/Kitten Chow, Purina Pro Plan, Purina Pro Plan Kitten dry, Purina Indoor, beds, towels, blankets, KMR Kitten replacement milk and bottles, canned food, litter and new toys.
