Water bill information: Revised utility bill shows customers the type of water and/or sewer service for which they are billed. There is not enough space on the bill to spell out the entire billing code (i.e., inside Town Limits residential 3/4-inch meter); the information is available on the Utility and Finance pages of the town's website. The change was suggested by a customer. Another customer suggested including a "per 100 gallons" tag in the usage column.
New officers: Former Treasurer John Venzon of Davidson was elected to serve as chairman of the Board of Directors for MI-Connection. Dawn Huston was elected to serve as secretary. Huston, a Mooresville resident and board member since October 2009, is the senior marketing manager for Deb Group. The board also elected Huntersville communications executive Brett Ellis to serve as treasurer.
Request withdrawn: A request to rezone a private home at 314 S. Main St. to permit the establishment of a tattoo studio has been withdrawn by the applicant. The property will remain zoned Town Residential.
