Mooresville residents may receive a letter asking them to participate in the survey. The town is not involved with the survey, but residents may contact Transportation Planner Neil Burke at 704-663-2891 for information.

Leaf collection: The town will collect leaves Dec. 12-15. Limb collection is Dec. 5. Limbs will not be picked up if they have been cut by professional cutters or trimmers. Take your leaves and limbs to the curb in front of your house the day before collection day.
Social services tally: Catawba County Social Services has posted new information tool called the Balanced Scorecard on its website. All of the information displayed is public record and is updated regularly. It does not identify any individuals receiving services. The Balanced Scorecard also displays information such as the number of people living in poverty in Catawba County, the unemployment rate, and the economic impact of the financial assistance provided by the agency.
You may access the Balanced Scorecard by going to the Catawba County Social Services site at www.catawbacountync.gov/dss/doing.asp and by clicking on the Balanced Scorecard link.
