"Miracle on 34th Street": Our Town Cinemas, 227 Griffith St., Davidson, will show the holiday classic several times a day, through Dec. 15. Tickets are $7.50, with $1 from each ticket donated to the Ada Jenkins Center. Reservations:

Christmas in Davidson 2011 ornament: $10, available at The Village Store and The Wooden Stone in downtown Davidson. Created from blown glass in various colors by Vermont-based studio Hot Glass Works, the ornament features the Davidson United Methodist Chapel. Proceeds benefit the Davidson Housing Coalition.
