Davidson

New appointee: Davidson College recently appointed Angie Boyer Dewberry, registrar at Agnes Scott College, to the same position at Davidson beginning July 1.

Dewberry's responsibilities will include maintaining students' academic records and helping to formulate and implement academic policy.

She succeeds Hansford Epes, a professor of German and humanities whose 47 years service at Davidson included the last 11 years as registrar.

Dewberry is a 2000 Davidson graduate who majored in history.

Huntersville

New senior classes: The North Mecklenburg Senior Center, now in a new location at 16601 Old Statesville Road in Huntersville, recently added several new classes for January:

The offerings include open games day, tai chi, two yoga classes, Arthritis Foundation exercise class, Wii bowling or tennis and computers.

New medical center leaders: Jeffrey Mullis recently began his new position as assistant chief financial officer at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville.

Annie Brawley Craven also recently started as director of rehabilitation services.

Huntersville
