The 28th annual Davidson Horticultural Symposium on March 6 will feature gardeners from around the world.
The symposium will feature seven nationally noted horticulturists, including Bill Thomas, executive director of the Chanticleer Foundation in Philadelphia, Pa., and David Howard, a horticultural consultant who specializes in organic gardening and was head gardener for 10 1/2 years at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, England, for the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
New York Times bestselling author Andrea Wulf also will address the gathering, which will be 9 a.m.- 4:15 p.m. in the Knobloch Campus Center at Davidson College. t
The symposium is titled "The Roots of Passion: The Inspired Gardener."
