Serenity House, a nonprofit end-of-life comfort care home in Mooresville, will have its annual "Soup on Sunday" fundraiser from noon to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 159 Gateway Blvd., Mooresville.
The event, now in its fourth year, will feature samples of soups from area restaurants for a $5-per-person donation.
Participating restaurants and chefs are Epic Chophouse, Chef Mike, Dockside Deli, Hilton Garden Inn, Jeffrey's, Joe Fish, Subway and The Meat Center. Bread will be provided by Panera Bread and Black Velvet Patisserie.
Dessert samples will also be available from Queen City Pastries in Mooresville.

Guests will vote for their favorite soup in the "People's Choice Award" by filling out a ballot after they taste samples.
A pottery bazaar that features soup and coffee mugs by local artists..
Artists interested in donating pieces to the bazaar should call Serenity House at 704-799-0392.
Cheryl Pletcher, executive director of Serenity House, described Soup on Sunday as a "wonderful hometown event."
Proceeds from the event will benefit Serenity House and its efforts to provide a sanctuary of peace and love for those who are seeking a dignified death.
