Road Rally: The Lake Norman Road Rally will be held March 24 at JR Motorsports in Talbert Pointe Business Park, off Talbert Pointe Boulevard in Mooresville.

In the annual charity scavenger hunt on wheels, participants navigating a 40-mile course in order to win prizes.

Road Rally participants are provided with a route map and solve clues along the way.

The event starts at 12:30 p.m. March 24, with the first cars released onto the road course at 2 p.m.

Tech Challenge: Sherrills Ford Branch Library, at 8456 Sherrills Ford Road, will observe Teen Tech Week with a video game challenge from 1 to 4 p.m. on March 9.

Youth aged 11-18 are invited to stop by from 1 to 4 p.m. to view some computer game programs available for developing computer games.

Davidson

8K Event: Summit Coffee will host the Leprechaun Loop 8K + Festival on March 17. The St. Patrick's day event, which kicks off at 6 p.m. in Davidson, benefits Levine Children's Hospital.

Registration for the Leprechaun Loop 8K is $25 and includes admission into the post-race party.
