Humane Society of Iredell

Volunteer needs: HSI is help in the Cat Rooms. If you're 18 or older, reliable and have consistent transportation and child care, talk to HSI about joining the team.

This role is vhands-on with the animals and requires some bending and kneeling, and a willingness to clean, feed and sometimes medicate. The upside is building relationships with some wonderful cats and kittens who quickly look forward to your return.

Volunteers are needed for the weekend cat room cleaning team at our main adoption center in Mooresville and a weekday floater.

Shifts open at the smaller PetSmart cattery, also in Mooresville. PetSmart is a great way to get started with the cats and is often a natural fit for people who need a shorter time commitment or a shift outside work hours.

For information, fill out a volunteer application at www.humanesocietyofiredell.net and scan to iredellhumane@yahoo.com.
