Point of Grace Church, Cornelius

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Lake Norman

Spiritual exploration groups: The humanist group will discuss “This I Believe,” short essays that describe what motivates individuals in their daily lives. The adult discussion group meets to explore and share inspiration and challenges. The youth group for grades 5-8 will resume programming this month. 9:45 a.m. Sundays.

Service: Members of the board will present “Many Voices, One Community.” Nursery available. Children in grades K-5 go to spiritual exploration after the children’s story during the service. 11 a.m. Sept. 21. Services are at the Woodlawn School, 135 Woodlawn School Loop, Mooresville.

Horizon Church, Statesville

Car and bike show: Showcase of classic and muscle cars, trucks and motorcycles plus bounce house, milk-chugging contest, 50-50 drawing and other family activities. In His Steps Dance Ministry

Dance classes: Free classes and Bible-based devotions for girls in pre-K through 12th grade. Classes meet weekly in Mooresville, Statesville and Troutman. Volunteers and donations welcome.
