Pancake breakfast: The Blue Devil Athletic Booster Community Pancake Breakfast will be held 7:30-11 a.m. Nov. 8 at the Magnolia Campus Cafeteria, 160 S. Magnolia St., Mooresville. Pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice will be available by donation. The event is open to the community.

Coddle Creek Elementary

Open house: 4-6 p.m. Nov. 10.

Lake Norman High

Pet food drive: The Lake Norman High PAWS Club is sponsoring a pet food drive through Dec. 5 to benefit the Humane Society of Iredell County. Donations can be dropped off in room 508.

Cannon School

Open house: Cannon School will host an admission open house 1 p.m. Nov. 8 at its campus at 5801 Poplar Tent Road, Concord. The event is for families exploring educational opportunities for students in junior kindergarten through grade 12. Visiting families will be able to tour the campus, learn more about the admission process and visit with teachers, students and school leaders. Registration is required. Details and registration:
