Ramsey Creek Swim Beach

Mooresville

NCDOT public hearing: The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing Mooresville Aug. 23 the proposed project to widen of N.C. 150 to a multi-lane, median-divided roadway. The project also includes the reconfiguration of the Interstate 77 and N.C. 150 interchange at Exit 36.

The purpose of the project is to improve traffic capacity and reduce congestion along N.C. 150 from the N.C. 16 Bypass to the U.S. 21/N.C. 150 interchange. The design alternatives will be presented to the public for review and comment.

On Aug. 23, an open house will be held 4-6:30 p.m. with a formal presentation at 7 p.m. at Peninsula Baptist Church, 687 Brawley School Road, Mooresville.

Public hearing notice: The town will hold a public hearing 7 p.m. Aug. 11 at Town Hall, 400 N. Eastway Drive, to consider reducing the size and limit height for campaign signs in residential districts. Call 704-528-7600 or email kdavis@troutmannc.gov if you have any questions.
