Janet Jackson is coming to Charlotte with her highly anticipated Unbreakable World tour, the tour’s promoter, Live Nation, announced Monday.
The tour will be in support of Jackson’s upcoming album, which is due out this fall. It will be her first album in seven years.
Jackson will begin her tour starting in Vancouver, British Columbia on Aug. 31. The tour arrives at Charlotte’s PNC Music Pavilion on Sept. 18. Jackson will perform the previous day at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh.
Jackson said on her website last week that her upcoming album, not yet titled, will be released on her Rhythm Nation Records label, via Bertelsmann Music Group. News of her album and tour had become a hot topic on social media.
