Two people were injured in a vehicle accident in south Charlotte Thursday.
The wreck happened around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Lancaster Highway and Providence Road West.
Officials have not released much information about the incident, but WBTV's Sky 3 was over the scene where it appeared firefighters had cut the roof off a silver sedan, that was heavily damaged, to free someone from the vehicle.
Another vehicle, an SUV with heavy front-end damage, could also be seen in the roadway near the silver sedan.

Medic confirmed that two people were injured in the crash and taken to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville.
One of the patients was seriously injured. The other reportedly had minor injuries. No names have been released.
There is no word on what may have led to the crash.
