Two people were displaced after a house in Gastonia caught fire early Friday. One person was taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m. at a home in the 400 block of Davidson Avenue near N. Broad Street. Officials say the fire started in the back of the home.
The cause is still under investigation. There is no word on estimated damages.
