Storms are being blamed after homes in the Mooresboro were destroyed Tuesday afternoon.

A viewer called WBTV to say her home along the 2700-block of Camp Creek Church Road was heavily damaged by storms that rolled through the area.

The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office says they are getting reports of trees down in the area.

Meteorologist Leigh Brock says a storm passed right over Mooresboro with a potential for 60 mph wind gusts.
