Mooresville police are asking residents to be on the alert after receiving reports of a man – “sometimes clothed, sometimes not clothed” – in a neighborhood.
Over the past week, police have received reports of a man acting suspiciously and “roaming through” the Morrison Plantation neighborhood.
A vague description was released: A white male in his 30s to early 40s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, and usually seen standing off in the distance.
The man hasn’t approached anyone or threatened anyone, but police say his behavior is odd.

Police have received at least two indecent exposure reports.
Major Gerald Childress said the department is trying to track down leads, and will try to get the man whatever help he needs.
Mooresville police ask residents in the neighborhood to be extra vigilant when coming and going, especially at night. They are urging residents out at night to leave some lights on outside their home and to carry lights, a cellphone, and key fobs to make noise with their car alarms if needed.
