Epiphany Lutheran

Beginning Sept. 27, the men at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Rock Hill will begin a new monthly Bible Study based on Erwin McManus' latest book, “Chasing Daylight.”

Events this week include:



ALPHA/The Lutheran Handbook, 7 p.m. Monday .



Words of Hope, 7 p.m. Monday.



Journey through the Bible, 7 p.m. Sept. 15.

Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist

Dr. Eddie Usher will be guest speaker for Homecoming Sunday at Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church in York on Sept. 14.

Usher was pastor at Kings Mountain Chapel from about 1993-2000. A covered dish lunch will follow the 11 a.m. service.

The church is at 1130 Philbeck Road in York.

Oakland Avenue Presbyterian

The contemporary service Sept. 14 will feature a program called “Who Should We Forgive?”

The program focuses on Jesus' parable of the unforgiving servant. A Fall Harvest Supper will be served before and after the 6-7 p.m. service. The meal will be served in the church's activities center, 504 Oakland Ave., Rock Hill.

Antioch International

International Bible teacher Alan Vincent will speak at Antioch International Church in Fort Mill on Sept. 28.

The church meets in NarroWay Theatre and Conference Center, 3346 Carowinds Blvd. Service times are 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Vincent's preaching topic will be “Fulfilling the Vision: Lessons Learned From the Life of David.”
