Candlelight Reflections, a candle-lighting ceremony that honors those affected by Alzheimer's and related memory disorders, as well as their caregivers, will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Union County Public Library, 316 E. Windsor St. The event is presented by the Council on Aging in Union County, the Family Caregiver Support Program and the Alzheimer's Association. Celeste Smith

The fifth annual Soup Studio, presented by Hospice & Community Care, will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at Grace Lutheran Church, 426 Oakland Ave. in Rock Hill. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the door or by visiting the Hospice & Community Care office at 2275 India Hook Road. Or call 803-329-1500. Soup Studio is designed to bring the community together for food and fellowship in support of Hospice & Community Care patients and their families.
