Free tutoring: High school students will offer free tutoring for elementary schoolchildren every Saturday until April 30 at the Morrison Regional Library, 7015 Morrison Blvd. Students can get help with reading, math or homework. Cancer fundraiser: Registration for the 2011 bicycle race "24 Hours of Booty" opens Jan. 5. The ninth annual Charlotte loop will be 7 p.m. July 29-30 in Myers Park. Race officials are hoping for 2,100 riders to raise $1 million for cancer research and survivorship. Participants are encouraged to register early. Details: www.24hoursofbooty.org.
