Zoning requests hint to activity

Charlotte City Council will decide on the future of a controversial proposed apartment complex in SouthPark Monday night.

Charlotte-based development company Crescent Resources owns the 7.6-acre lot and wants to build a five- or six-story apartment building with 350 residential units. Although the zoning committee passed the petition unanimously last month, residents are concerned about property values and aesthetics:
