Former Providence lacrosse player Tucker Hull, now playing for the Naval Academy, was named the Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year.
Hull, named the eighth-best freshman in the country by Inside Lacrosse, scored a team-high 23 goals and had 15 assists in his first season at Navy.
Hull is one of only 11 players in program history to score 20 or more goals in his rookie year and had the sixth-most goals in school history.
The freshman is the second Navy player to win Patriot League Rookie of the Year honors since the Midshipmen joined the league in 2004.
