The Morrison YMCA will host more than 900 people walking or running the seventh annual Run! Ballantyne 10K/5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run.
The May 14 race will follow a course through Ballantyne Corporate Park, and all ages and ability levels are welcome.
"It really is a race for everyone, and last year we had someone complete the course in a wheelchair," said Eve Bailey, marketing and communications director for the Morrison YMCA.
Participants include 12 corporate teams; Premier Inc., which moved its corporate headquarters to Ballantyne a few years ago, has 50 runners participating.

In February, Premier launched several onsite running and walking clubs led by YMCA fitness trainers, including one - called "Couch to 5K" - whose goal is to participate in the Run! Ballantyne race.
Premier has a new corporate health partnership with the YMCA that includes discounts for Y memberships, onsite fitness classes taught by Y instructors at the Premier office building, running and walking clubs led by Y trainers and outdoor recreational leagues.
"Premier's wellness program also includes a weight-loss "Biggest Loser" program, access to personal trainers and "Be Well Bucks," in which employees can earn as much as $300 a year if they complete an online health assessment, meet with a health coach quarterly and have an annual biometric screening.
Premier is a health care performance-improvement alliance of 2,500 hospitals and 73,000 other care sites. The company moved its headquarters here from San Diego in 2009 and employs 800.
Run! Ballantyne will start and finish in the heart of Ballantyne Corporate Park. Proceeds will benefit the Morrison YMCA Community Support Campaign.
