"Love Lights": There will be thousands of luminaries around Freedom Park Lake 5-9 p.m. Nov. 19 for the Pilot Club of Charlotte's "Love Lights" fundraiser for Alzheimer's research. To have luminaries lit in memory of loved ones, donate to Pilot International Foundation, 2419 Hatherly Road, Charlotte, N.C. 28209. Include the names for each luminary. Help homeless: Bright Blessings, a nonprofit organization serving homeless children and families in Charlotte, will host its annual "Stuff the Stockings" event from 1-4 p.m. Nov. 13 at 608-A Matthews Mint Hill Road. Camera class: Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department will host an On Camera Acting Class for adults 55 and older at the Elon Recreation Center, 11401 Ardrey Kell Road.
